Tent with a solar-powered cooling system and antimicrobial properties

  • Specialty tent fabric design that uses evaporative cooling to lower the interior temperature by ~20°F using TiO2-laden fabric and water: as it wicks throughout the tent, water evaporates in the sun, the interior cools
  • Portable, electricity-free cooling is virtually non-existent. Current “self-cooling” tents are done either through IR reflection, which only can cool an interior to ambient temperature, offering little to no relief
  • Titania-loaded fabric tent with an aqueous reservoir that wicks and evaporates fluid, cooling the tent well below ambient temperature. This easy to manufacture and low-cost, low-weight tent fabric, tent is also antimicrobial
