Market Validation Workshop

The Market Validation Workshop (MVW) is a customer discovery course designed to assist budding entrepreneurs quickly define their product market fit. The program is designed to be delivered either virtually or in person.

Florida Atlantic University has developed the course to be delivered over a four-week period of time. During that time, aspiring entrepreneurs are required to speak with at least 25 potential customers. The entrepreneurs test their initial business thesis while conducting the interviews and pivot as necessary. At the end of the program a final presentation of their findings is given by each entrepreneur. Some examples of program outcomes include:

  • Validate unmet market needs
  • Determine product-market fit
  • Identify business model gaps
  • Collect qualitative data for future pitches
  • Build a network of early adopters and potential advocates
