Abstract

Technology entails the development of an artificial intelligence (AI) based decision making model/system/platform for the diagnosis & treatment planning of orthodontic patients requiring extraction/non-extraction treatment. Technology utilizes machine learning methods like: neural networks, logistic regression, random forest ensemble classifier & customized decision-making expert systems (ES) to analyze data obtained from patient records consisting on x-rays, photographs and dental models to provide a primary & alternate treatment option out of 14 different treatment options.
